I have been a patient of Dr. Miskelly's for over 20 years. I used to get back aches, cramps, and headaches so bad that I could barely function. Since being treated by Dr. Miskelly (on a regular basis) I have been able to enjoy life without all the pain and symptoms I used to "just deal with".

Fort Wayne was the home of Central Soya, a large producer of Lecithin. Bunge, another agriculture company, purchased Central Soya. Vitamin Companies purchase this product to produce the nutritional capsules and granules Chiropractors in Fort Wayne recommend to their patients.
WHY?
Lecithin is a fatty substance called a Phospholipid containing Nitrogen, Phosphorus and digestible Vitamin B Complex. It is found especially in the brain and nerve cells. Lecithin is sticky yet slippery and has multiple uses in the human body. Cholesterol and fats have wonderful uses in the body, if they have been dissolved into very small droplets by Lecithin. Those uses of dissolved Cholesterol and fats are:
- production of many of our hormones
- decongesting of the liver and gallbladder
- preventing the clogging of arteries and veins by undissolved cholesterol
- saponification, part of digestion, of heavy fats in the small intestines
Lecithin also mobilizes calcium in the muscles, bones and connective tissues to reduce stiffness. Lecithin coats the cell walls of the body keeping them supple and promotes and supports the Sodium/Potassium Pump in the production of muscle energy in the form of Adenosine Triphosphate. The nervous system requires Lecithin to produce the Acetacholine, which allows nerves to transfer mental impulses across the synapses between nerve fibers. Lecithin bathes the nerves to protect the myelin sheathes. (There are demyelization types of diseases that break down the sheath protecting the nerves. Multiple Sclerosis is one of them.) Since Lecithin is so important the liver produces Lecithin, if it has the B vitamins, Nitrogen and Phosphorus needed to produce it. The kidneys, vocal cords and heart valves need Lecithin to protect the filters, prevent irritation and help in repair. Does this answer some of the “WHY?” Chiropractors and nutritionist recommend Lecithin? |
